Soshu-den(相州伝): The traditional Soshu-style in middle Kamakura-era. The feudal government in the middle Kamakura Period invite the top Katana-smith from Yamashiro; Awataguchi-Kunitsuna(粟田口国綱) and Bizen; Saburo-Kunimune, Ichimonji-Sukezane to Kamakura in Soshu. The greatest master Katana-smith is Masamune. He perfected the characteristic Soshu-style. He was a genius for thr aesthetics of craftsmanship of crafting Japanese sword.
