Shin-shinto Period is from late Edo-era(Tenmei-era天明 1781) until the Meiji-era(Haito-rei law 1876)

Suishinshi Masahide水心子正秀 revived an old traditional technique of Oroshi-Gane

(卸し鉄) in 1797. Orosu(卸す) means adjusting the amount of carbon.

Minamoto-no-Kiyomaro(源清磨 nickname: Yotsuya-Masamune四谷正宗) and his elder brother Masao(真雄 lived in Shinshu Ueda信州上田) are famous Katana-smith. Their swords had beautiful and sharp blade with a gorgeous.
